POEM: Necked Truth

Much of what we have materially wrests on the necks of others…

Necked Truth

They learned balance in their own
Life
Precarious
Moving
Neck and neck
From won
To an other
Awe the wile
Getting
Aheads
Rolling
Others on the ropes
Most necks
Conveniently turning away
