POEM: The Tell

The easiest form of hubris is not learning from our enemies…

The Tell

“I love my enemies for two reasons: They inspire me to recognize my weakness. They also inspire me to perfect my imperfect nature.” – Sri Chinmoy
“The larger the bricks your enemies throw at you the larger the palace you are going to build.” – Matshona Dhliwayo
“The best revenge is not to be like your enemy.” – Marcus Aurelius

There are lies we tell
There are lies we cannot tell
And sum are real beauts
A symmetry that is Greek to awe
Bearing gifts
If my faux leads the weigh
Might I just
Fallow my ideals
My posed values
And portend that it takes me
In the vary arms of my enemy
Who are awe bad
Wear as I am soully so so wrong
Baste on what
That place abet
Their offering
Of a bettor way
Where the hows
All ways win

Miss understanding means and ends leads too many ‘means’ and ‘ends’.
