POEM: Just Nation

This poem reflects my yearning for a nation that gladly welcomes refugees and immigrants.

Just Nation

Fore awe of US
Who halve a dream
In this peculiar whirled
Of death and extortion
Of making a killing
To welcome refugees
As America inkkk
Penning anew chapter
Transcending our own
Red or black
Or other
And go won better
Out classing
A nation of exceptional -ism
Of pigginess and pork
A sow
Called Christian
Nation
Condem nation
Or just
Nation
