POEM: Gobble Gobble Gobble

A Thanksgiving poem for awe at the table, not at the table, and those on the table.

Gobble Gobble Gobble

Turkey prayers sound like
Gobble gobble gobble
Turkey preyers sound like
Gobble gobble gobble
Won might ax
If the deference can be tolled
Weather a bit corny
Or big fat turkeys
We are what we eat
Our unremitting fete
As potential
Human beans
