POEM: Beyond Laudable

You can’t take it with you, but you can live and die with barns full in a hungry world…

Beyond Laudable

They lived along
Rich life
Making their claim
Money is not that important to me
Soully to die
To wealth
Pried
From their cold, dead hands
Calling a laudable
From beyond

They also will answer, “Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?” –Matthew 25:44
