Nobody Really No’s
The apple falls
The shoe drops
The plan it tracks
The gravity of such law as undisputed
You need not condone
Whatever weigh
You obey
Such gravity
Know more
Know less
Sow it is
With love
Know greater law
This poem is about love, more specifically, the law of love. Few people would dare deny the law of gravity, and gravity will have its way with us regardless of what we do or believe. This poem is a call to recognize that the law of love is no less fundamental than recognized laws of physics. The law of love is a law of metaphysics. You don’t have to respect, obey, or even know the law of love in order for the law of love to operate. And just like the law of gravity, if you do not act in accordance with the law of love, then things gets busted up and people get hurt. May we harmonize ourselves with the law of love — know greater law.
