This poem is an ode to those middle-of-the-night times, timeless times not yesterday and not yet today. I consider these stolen times, gifts of presence, that I can share with my best friend and lover. \nIn the whole cosmos
\nThe undeniable rhythms
\nOf night and day
\nThe cycle of seasons
\nAnd years going

\nBillions and billions flickering
