This poem is about my experience writing poetry, where I as the author get a singular portion of the experience, probably more that those relegated to reading merely the final product. This poem is a cousin to my poem:\u00a0 My Poetry is Shit<\/a><\/p>\n

Underworked Poetry<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

“No one ever steps in the same river twice, for it’s not the same river and they are not the same person.”<\/em> — Heraclitus ungendered<\/p>\n

They saw
\nThat eye halve
\nUnderworked poetry
\nFlowing in what seams
\nAs a lazy river
\nStill awe most
\nA stream of conscience-ness
\nMy feat dangling
\nIn what
\nCannot be
\nExperienced twice
\nIf you should
\nStep in it
\nSo trying
\nAgin
\nAnd agin
\nIt’s not your fault
\nAs eye a loan
\nUnder going
\nUnearth
\nQuake
\nAwe most still
\nIn the bowels
