I got a text message from Rumi:<\/span>
\nbig screen tv died<\/span>
\nwhole world looks like 3D<\/span>
\nbrb<\/span>
\nThat was over a thousand years ago<\/span><\/p>\n

Real life is infinitely more fascinating than virtual life. \u00a0It’s like trying to compare 3D to 2D: there aren’t really words adequate for it. \u00a0Rumi’s timeless message is embedded in a short story encompassing modern times. \u00a0The instant text messaging and big screen televisions may draw us into their world. \u00a0Nevertheless, the whole<\/em> world will eventually have its day; and if it’s a good day, it can last a thousand years – even given the worst of intentions.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
