Artist play an important role in the resistance. This is why authoritarian regimes go after the artists and intellectuals. Also, artists make lousy slaves.<\/p>\n

Buy hell or high water \nThe powers that be \nPossess \nA scorched earth policy \nAnd a wrest of us \nAs our lives are doodled \nOn the margins of society \nLiving on the edge \nOur arts on fire \nBraving the greatest sensor of awe \nOur skin in the game molten \nIn large in every seasoning \nTill fully groan \nPassing on \nTorching \nOf the dead would \nAs if water can \nPut out \nOur saving the soul \nOf that dam nation \nPosing as some whored of life \nTheir foe watering whole \nAfter awe \nFire raging \nAt won \nAnd the same time \nFore awe that is at stake \nSears of the future \nIn visioning a world \nAs we wholed in the highest \nA steam<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
