I suspect each of us has encountered fakes, stiffs, who too routinely fail to treat others humanely, seemingly deadened by their own, lifeless stuff. Thus, this poem:<\/p>\n

Calling Awe Taxidermists<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

He was his own
\nWorst faux
\nAnd stiff
\nWas his weigh of life
\nHis bag
\nStuffed
\nWith the lowest common denominations
\nYou can take it to the blank
\nAn empty suit
\nOf amor
\nIn firm hide
\nAn executive
\nIn the company of others
\nRunning lapse
\nRound the competition
\nA certifiable square
\nHis art
\nBeating
\nHis humdrum
\nWhatever
\nHe wood do
\nHe couldn\u2019t help
\nLumbering
\nWithout imagining
\nUn-forest
\nHis lonely companion
\nA cat, a tonic
\nThere is no quest in
\nWhat\u2019s he, fur
\nAnd on his better daze
\nA mirror knock off
\nAnd mock up
\nWorshipping his altar ego
\nHis hollowed charm
\nOn the hi way to hull
\nAnd if should
\nHappen upon awkwardly
\nFeeling
\nPhone-y
\nHe squeezes in
\nThat fateful calling
\nTo the taxidermist
