This poem is a riff on on the Matrix movie franchise, of which one was entitled, “Matrix Revolutions.” This poem plays with the notion of incremental change as often inadequate when facing epic existential choices, and the daunting all-ternative.<\/p>\n

Matrix™ Evolution\u00ae<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

He refused
\nTo get with the program
\nHis life as sum hack
\nAs if some eve
\nWould deliver him
\nFrom his
\nUnremitting mess-age
\nBeyond making cents
\nFollow the rabbit
\nShoulder some awesome
\nResponse ability
\nWithout question
\nWhat if
\nHe can’t take it
\nSome pill
\nAs if
\nWeather feeling blue
\nOr red
\nOnly to efface awe
\nOther choice
\nAnd
\nDue the impossible
\nDown the rabbit
