Mysticism is at the heart of all true religion. Experiencing the mystic, the sublime, may involve wooing over generations, even eons. However, on some inexplicable occasions, mystic experiences fuel an incinerator that lays waste to all convention and worldviews. The beautiful part of this parent destruction is rebirth like a phoenix from the ashes. True freedom emanates from this place. Awe life arises from this hearth. This poem is but an embarrassingly dim recounting of such occasions.<\/p>\n

What Counts?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

She recounted
\nIn awe earnestness
\nA hi spiritual truth
\nThat the spark of the divine is
\nIn every person
\nI didn’t have the art to tell her
\nThat God
\nIs a fucking flamethrower
\nIncinerating every tenant of your whirled view
\nKiln all that you ever love
\nEvery cherished precept
\nEvery earned emotion
\nEvery vicarious virtue
\nEvery body of sow called knowledge
\nRoasting every dogma
\nThe ash hole of every vice releasing
\nKraken every bad joke imaginable
\nTill awe cremains
\nSoully to find yourself
\nAs if
\nRazed from the dread
\nSinging a sublime song
\nNothing you cant
