This poem is a small tale of serendipity where even the small stub of a toe could lead to large discovery, and weather this discovery turns out to be a blessing or a curse may also deep end on serendipity.<\/p>\n
The Stub<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
He wondered \nRound the desert \nFore what could have been \nA madder of daze \nOr forty years \nStubbing his toe \nOn what \nTurns out \nTo be \nThe top of some won’s world \nA pyramid \nOf time in memorial \nA vocation to some \nA vacation to others \nIn far aweigh lands \nFrom dust to dust \nA ticket too \nThe wresting spot \nOf dead gods \nUnearth \nThe mother of awe mummies \nFamously on display \nIn museums \nHereafter leaving us breathless \nHaving lost site \nGrace fully unaware \nOf a mirror stub of our former footing \nThat effortless healing \nOf that unassuming god \nSomehow taken \nFor granite \nThat big tow \nBuy past \nBye small oblivions \nUntil wee too are bared \nInquest to be made \nHole<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
