\nA cliff hangar<\/strong>
\nShe jumped<\/strong>
\nIn what felt<\/strong>
\nLike<\/strong>
\nA free fall<\/strong>
\nThe feint of art<\/strong>
\nClosing their eyes<\/strong>
\nThinking this only is<\/strong>
\nFor the birds<\/strong>
\nOr perhaps angels<\/strong>
\nOr butterflies borne by the wind<\/strong>
\nFor life is never a breeze<\/strong>
\nFore the heavy<\/strong>
\nThinking<\/strong>
\nToo much<\/strong>
\nWait<\/strong>
\nNever suspect<\/strong>
\nBeyond<\/strong>
\nA cruel goad<\/strong>
\nOnly trying<\/strong>
\nToo flutter me<\/strong>
\nAmid fleeting heir<\/strong>
\nIn the grip<\/strong>
\nOf only that<\/strong>
\nWhich can be<\/strong>
\nGrasped by wings<\/strong>
\nFeeling confidant<\/strong>
\nEnough<\/strong>
\nTo be<\/strong>
\nSow fly<\/strong><\/p>\n

This poem is about the lightness of heart and soul to take off in life.\u00a0 This poem is also about the courage needed to let the seemingly ethereal stuff of life lift us up.\u00a0 Our highest hopes can offer a birds-eye view of what is often a harsh landscape.\u00a0 A higher perspective can reveal paths and possibilities outside of the realm of those\u00a0anchored only in concrete reality.\u00a0 Plus, flying can be real fun and absolutely invigorating.\u00a0 May you find flight for your dreams and be a beacon for those looking for a way.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
