\nAnd glistening years<\/strong>
\nIn ignorance passed<\/strong>
\nBelying youth<\/strong>
\nIn wrinkled knows<\/strong>
\nAt untaut skin<\/strong>
\nIn the game<\/strong>
\nWear even<\/strong>
\nThe future rests<\/strong>
\nJust<\/strong>
\nIn time<\/strong>
\nAs quiet<\/strong>
\nA scene<\/strong>
\nWith awe<\/strong>
\nFacing beauty<\/strong>
\nAknew<\/strong><\/p>\n

As every ancient wisdom tradition teaches, beauty is more than skin deep.\u00a0 The beauty and wisdom that comes with accumulated experience trumps even youthful vigor and physical vitality.\u00a0 Trading the vicissitudes of youth for the vicissitudes of senescence is not a bad deal.\u00a0 With every loss there is opportunity for learning — learning that youth often bulls its way past, with zealous confidence or strapping hardiness.\u00a0 Even surviving long enough to experience senescence can be a daily reminder of life’s bountiful blessings and accumulated graces.\u00a0 An earned acceptance and long realized gratitude can pave a way forward with a truer compass, more reliable than the dashing speed of youth.\u00a0 This deeper beauty is a layer anew in life,\u00a0nesting where the future rests, as even now wrests.\u00a0 May you find\u00a0a profound beauty in aging, enabling you to live awe of the days of your life.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
