{"id":2009,"date":"2015-10-18T12:29:19","date_gmt":"2015-10-18T17:29:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/toppun.com\/blog\/?p=2009"},"modified":"2015-10-18T12:29:19","modified_gmt":"2015-10-18T17:29:19","slug":"poem-how-does-it-awe-end","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/toppun.com\/blog\/2015\/10\/18\/poem-how-does-it-awe-end\/","title":{"rendered":"POEM: How Does It Awe End?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Sow ponderous are wee<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong> The nature of God<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong> And<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong> God of nature<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong> Never two be the same<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong> As one<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong> Awe weighs<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong> Whichever becoming<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong> Created in won mine<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong> Weather mirror mortals<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong> Or I am parish-able being<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong> A quest in during<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong> Too haves<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong> And halve knots<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong> Regarding the spirit of what matters<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong> Neither helled fast<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong> Nor celestially slowed buy death<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong> And aft-er life each claiming<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong> Stern up trouble<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong> Figuring the other&#8217;s sale is rigged<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong> Know cents in fallowing<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong> What is billed of star board<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong> Oar all is port<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong> As solid grounds a mast<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong> Exceeded only by wind<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong> Assumptions and renunciations<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong> From the back spew and affront row<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong> A mist<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong> The sow called<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong> Whys<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong> Only wandering<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong> How does it awe end<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I am prone to venture into the dangerous arena of speculation on the nature of God in efface of skepticism and the idle juggernaut of cynicism.\u00a0 This poem is about awe, that and much more.\u00a0 I view awe as a primary experience of what I would term spiritual or mystical.\u00a0 I find awe uplifting.\u00a0 Dissecting life rarely leaves life still living.\u00a0 In do coarse, most arguments about God or any sublime reality devolve into reductive thinking and defensive emotional stances, regardless of one&#8217;s belief in common ground or sacred spaces.\u00a0 I am skeptical of any view of humans as solely common ground.\u00a0 I am also skeptical of the races of men to lay claim to the sublime spaciousness that is sacred.\u00a0 Awe is elusive.\u00a0 The spirit is like the wind, as we know not where it comes from or where it goes.\u00a0 I suppose that it would not be an unwarranted characterization to say the awe is my religion.\u00a0 Of course, awe and wonder are the enemy and antidote to dogmas, in this dogma eat dogma world wee in habit.\u00a0 Sow, this poem is a bout finding a place where awe does not end, where awe is not exiled from our ideology of the moment.\u00a0 May you ask wise as you wander, and as you find awe that you are seeking, make more of it.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sow ponderous are wee The nature of God And God of nature Never two be the same As one Awe weighs Whichever becoming Created in won mine Weather mirror mortals Or I am parish-able being A quest in during Too &hellip; <a href=\"https:\/\/toppun.com\/blog\/2015\/10\/18\/poem-how-does-it-awe-end\/\">Continue reading <span class=\"meta-nav\">&rarr;<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[32,9,15],"tags":[546,294,435,458,385,312,428,65,473,359,444,13,379,658,94,601,83,128,321,30],"class_list":["post-2009","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-about-top-pun","category-poems","category-political-and-philosophical-musings","tag-argument","tag-awe","tag-character","tag-cynicism","tag-death","tag-dogma","tag-experience","tag-god","tag-ideology","tag-life","tag-mystic","tag-mystical","tag-nature","tag-poems","tag-poetry","tag-reality","tag-religion","tag-sacred","tag-skepticism","tag-spiritual"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.7 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/product\/yoast-seo-wordpress\/ -->\n<title>POEM: How Does It Awe End?
