He suffered<\/strong>
\nMultiple strokes<\/strong>
\nOf genius<\/strong>
\nRendering him<\/strong>
\nUnable Not To speak<\/strong>
\nOut<\/strong>
\nWith what<\/strong>
\nWas in<\/strong>
\nLeft and right<\/strong>
\nBoth lame<\/strong>
\nAll to gather disarmed<\/strong>
\nIn infancy motions<\/strong>
\nRed and blue<\/strong>
\nLeaving won<\/strong>
\nMarooned<\/strong>
\nFeeling peaked<\/strong>
\nIn a fervorish affection for awe<\/strong>
\nOnly not taking — seriously!<\/strong>
\nAs if<\/strong>
\nCracking<\/strong>
\nSum remorse code<\/strong>
\nAnd infirm resolve<\/strong>
\nFollowing every empath<\/strong>
\nWilling to lead<\/strong>
\nAwe the ardor<\/strong>
\nChallenging<\/strong>
\nEverything<\/strong>
\nWee wince knew<\/strong>
\nAs invalid<\/strong><\/p>\n

This poem is a takeoff on having a stroke, or in this case, multiple strokes…of genius.\u00a0 This poem is an ode to playfulness as a form of salvation from the lameness of politics.\u00a0 By playfully challenging virtually every ideology one can escape the death grip of political calculations.\u00a0 Also, such playfulness is both a means and an end to revitalize overly serious politics.\u00a0 Politics is important enough that being rendered unable not to speak is a useful affliction, as participation is key to vital community.\u00a0 Nonetheless, sparing oneself, and others, from the cynics of politics is reason enough to embrace awe and playfulness.\u00a0 The braininess of political operatives may be able to triangulate winning electoral strategies and even pretty enlightened politically correct platforms, but truth is more akin of joy than rightness.\u00a0 Politics tends to create as many problems as it solves.\u00a0 As Albert Einstein so aptly noted, \"<\/a>“Intellectuals solve problems; geniuses prevent them.”\u00a0 May you be subject to multiple strokes of genius as an antidote for lame politics.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
