\nAs sow appetite for the pauper reproach<\/strong>
\nWith such lack luster assurance<\/strong>
\nAs hungering for <\/strong>
\nCorporate solutions<\/strong>
\nLike KoolAid\u2122<\/strong>
\nFor the poor<\/strong>
\nAs food desserts<\/strong>
\nLike a cock tale<\/strong>
\nWagging the dog<\/strong>
\nFor mirrorly fucking bitches<\/strong>
\nThe same owe same owe<\/strong>
\nAs prophets of ode<\/strong>
\nRapiers by daze<\/strong>
\nTemplars buy eve<\/strong>
\nThe paltry of knights<\/strong>

\nSitting a top the whirled<\/strong>
\nOf hell care<\/strong>
\nReigning<\/strong>
\nPennies from heaven<\/strong>
\nAs coppers too familiar<\/strong>
\nTo the indignant<\/strong>
\nAnd indigent<\/strong>
\nOf that speaking with spoken sword<\/strong>
\nOffering crumbs<\/strong>
\nLeading know where<\/strong>
\nTheir droppings<\/strong>
\nAs little balms<\/strong>
\nAs met a sin<\/strong>
\nRequiring heart surgery<\/strong>
\nAnd prescribing<\/strong>
\nTake two aspirin<\/strong>
\nAnd call me in the mourning<\/strong>

\nSuch self-determination<\/strong>

\nLiving on exorbitant feeds<\/strong>

Here is my decidedly unofficial entry in the ProMedica sponsored poetry competition so unintentionally named, “Revealing Hunger: Spoken (S)word.”\u00a0 While it is the Big S poetry competition they are currently sponsoring, I’ll pass — though I’m quite sure it will be a gas.\u00a0 ProMedica was sure to eventually reap the madness of my poetry, sow here it is.\u00a0 ProMedica is always in the running for trying to coroner the market in buying good will to which it might be able to attach its moribund name.\u00a0 Though the pathetic $150 price for a singular winning poem betrays how little they truly value good will and poetry.\u00a0 If my words don’t speak well enough for me, then I invite ProMedica to eat me, should their hunger for justice suffer in digestion.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
