They were fighting<\/strong>
\nFor the sole of the Republican Party<\/strong>
\nTreading on one another<\/strong>
\nHiking up the cost for all<\/strong>
\nNo-ing only<\/strong>
\nToo exorcise their freedom<\/strong>
\nIn runs for the money<\/strong>
\nAnd superior races<\/strong>
\nDoing whatever they klan<\/strong>
\nHowever big it may be<\/strong>
\nOf mice and men shrinking<\/strong>
\nLike an elephant on grass<\/strong>
\nInevitably tramps<\/strong>
\nLeaving only<\/strong>
\nA closet full of boners<\/strong>
\nAnd empty, high-priced shoos<\/strong>
\nRe-lying on trite and true -isms<\/strong>
\nIf the shoo fits<\/strong>
\nWare it<\/strong><\/p>\n

This poem aims at the elephantine target of unforgettable Republican politics.\u00a0 More specifically, this poem was inspired by the infighting between Tea Party Republicans and the Republican establishment — Tweedledee and Tweedledumber.\u00a0 Self-destruction never looked so good!\u00a0 Of course, such shenanigans are a poor way to uplift our nation.\u00a0 I’ve incorporated a tip of the hat to the African proverb, “When elephants fight, it is the grass that suffers.”\u00a0 In this case, it’s a colonial and racist white elephant.\u00a0 As the shrinking proverbial tent of the Republican Party is reduced to some pachyderm Speedo\u00ae, they will inevitably have to display their corporate sponsors’ logos as tattoos.\u00a0 They might even be advised to monetize this train wreck by putting it on pay-per-view.\u00a0 There is no such thing as throwing up your lunch for free!<\/p>\n
