Well come<\/span>
\nTo this ad dulled state<\/span>
\nWhat will it take<\/span>
\nTo see the light<\/span>
\nTell a vision<\/span>
\nDivining every yen<\/span>
\nRazing the whys<\/span>
\nJacking up<\/span>
\nAll that meters<\/span>
\nTaxi’ing every quarter our<\/span>
\nStatic being drug<\/span>
\nSwallowing minute libations<\/span>
\nTo our own<\/span>
\nDram nation<\/span>
\nPros astute<\/span>
\nShop lifting thirsts and seconds<\/span>
\nFeigning coy<\/span>
\nEat us<\/span>
\nInterruptus<\/span>
\nLusting an instant<\/span>
\nTo be<\/span>
\nA loan<\/span>
\nStop the word and let me get off<\/span>
\nYet in the end<\/span>
\nA foreign language oui read<\/span>
\nLITTLE PRINTS<\/span>
\nExposing<\/span>
\nAstor risks<\/span>
\nLike a John going down on the Titanic<\/span>
\nCan that<\/span>
\nBe conceivably kosher<\/span>
\nSuch an untold clip<\/span>
\nThat diabolic scroll<\/span>
\nIn nothing flat<\/span>
\nCan we circumspect nothing else<\/span>
\nSo ordained<\/span>
\nA diction <\/span>
\nRazing<\/span>
\nHigh couture<\/span>
\nThat calling<\/span>
\nNOW<\/span>
\nTo see double<\/span>
\nSpeak easy operators<\/span>
\nReaching the hype<\/span>
\nOf pop culture<\/span>
\nSoda whatever happens<\/span>
\nThe dream of auto pilots<\/span>
\nEvery wear<\/span>
\nFashioning model consumers<\/span>
\nIn compassing all the rage<\/span>
\nInsuring all lost<\/span>
\nA luxurious cell<\/span>
\nWith the laidest technology<\/span>
\nEveryone fast<\/span>
\nFood again<\/span>
\nCon fronting counter fits<\/span>
\nWith an app petite<\/span>
\nTo be ravenous nevermore<\/span>
\nConquering SOBs hankering<\/span>
\nWhatever man<\/span>
\nYou fractured<\/span>
\nTo undemanding specks<\/span>
\nWhatever you craven<\/span><\/p>\n

The near omnipresence of advertisements in so-called advanced civilization can lead to an addled state of mind. \u00a0Capitalism cannot resist, and even lifts to a virtue, monetizing everything possible. \u00a0And where does this road lead? \u00a0To one big commercial, occasionally interrupted by life. \u00a0The need to convince people about all of the needs that they didn’t even know they had takes unrelenting programs of repetition assaulting our senses in increasingly novel and clever ways. \u00a0Our brains can find little refuge from such assaults. \u00a0Weather coy interruptions or sensory overload, the lowest common denominators of sensuality, status, and power tempt and train our baser instincts to buy products basking in their glow. \u00a0Unfortunately, the glow of big-screen televisions, neon lights, and fancy packaging rarely deliver even a fraction of their alleged benefits. \u00a0The truth evaporates like ethereal promises scrolling by as incomprehensible fine print. \u00a0We are expected to rest upon verbal promises not even worth the paper they aren’t even printed on. \u00a0Such means produce similar ends. \u00a0The consumer is consumed. \u00a0Elusive wants grow larger the closer we get. \u00a0In our dreams, we Chase Freedom\u2122 like a fairy tail. \u00a0Our simplest needs are crushed under the weight of gadgets, accessories, and the inevitable infestation of bugs in Life v.16.2.01. \u00a0 What we need is life unplugged. \u00a0A blackout might reveal what is truly electric. \u00a0Even in the darkest of ages, those who are\u00a0be-wild-er-ed will find a road less travelled. \u00a0The best things in life cannot be manufactured. \u00a0The best things in life are free — that is, if you can pay the cost…<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
