I am the poet lariat
\nOf the news cycle
\nBad as biker
\nOf the proletariat
\nAnd their hang ups
\nOf awe kinds
\nThat\u2019s the catch
\nAmid heir
\nHaving gone native
\nOn the nativists
\nAnd awe those under standing
\nHoarse
\nAs a poet with no name
\nBarring rhymes with orange
\nUddering the loudest
\nUnherd
\nEven in efface of gallows
\nHumor
\nAs noose to me
\nStill
\nCarrying on
\nWhat might be left
\nOf me
