More About the
SOA School of the Americas
The
SOA, School of Americas, also affectionately known as the
School of Assassins, has trained over 60,000
terrorists since 1946, when it was founded in Panama by the United States Army.
In 1986, Central Americans said "Basta, No Mas" and sent the Yankee terrorist
training camp back to the U.S. to
Fort Benning, Georgia, and it has been
exporting SOA-trained terrorists from U.S. soil ever since. The U.S.
government In 2001, Congress changed the SOA's name to the "Western
Hemisphere Institute for Security Cooperation," or
WHISC.
Still, the SOA School of Americas by any name means terror. Different name,
same shame. Congress can't "WHISC" away the blood shed, terror reeked, and
innocent civilians massacred by School of Americas graduates. Not in our name, not
with any name -- close the
SOA! The true patriot act is to close the
SOA. Picture yourself and thousands of others peacefully descending upon
Fort Benning, GA, demanding an end to the
violence. Let's teach peace by our actions.
