Guerilla marketing takes it to the streets! Guerilla marketing outmaneuvers mass media Guerilla marketing takes your messages directly to the people with "mini" media! . Deliver your messages effectively and inexpensively, all while having some fun. Conversation Starters One of the most basic concepts of guerilla marketing is to start conversations. These conversations can be with people we know, say by commenting on a button or T-shirt. Conversations can be started with people we don't know but interact with in our daily lives, for example, store clerks. However, some of the most interesting conversations likely occur without us (not that we are not interesting) because of others seeing our message. For instance, I love seeing the reaction in my rear view mirror at a stoplight of people laughing, pointing at my bumper stickers, and saying something to the person next to them. Personal Reminders - Getting a Peace of the Action! Guerilla marketing is not simply a matter of waving slogans in front of others (although this helps). In many settings, guerilla marketing is powered by our own attitude being in sync with our message. In fact, maintaining a peaceful attitude, even in the face of conflict, may actually be the message! Angry rhetoric is unlikely to rid the world of anger. Trite but true: peace begins with me. Personal reminders can be helpful in keeping the peace and maintaining perspective; whether on our person, in our home, workplace, or car. Items such as magnets, mugs, key chains, mouse pads, book marks, or even a trivet or apron in the kitchen, can serve as well placed personal reminders. Guerilla marketing constantly seeks a peace of the action. Just due it! Stay tuned! This guerilla marketing section is just getting warmed up. Come back soon...
